RE: short ram intake

cold air usually has tubing that goes somewhere to a filter in your front bumper to draw in the cooler air, away from the engine bay giving you more power: a SRI is in the engine compartment, and feeds off the warm air, but since its short you get good throatle response, but can lose power

there are also some that offere a heat shield, which offers cool air, and is also very short, but getting a system with a prefabbed heat shield is usually expensive, heres what i mean, by a heat shield(btw k and n is awfull)

i have high satisfaction with Weapon-R intakes and would recommend for all

Injen IS line is a CAI setup that is in 2 pieces so you can remove the lower piece and use it as an SRI also.
