SRI/CAI Pipe
i have a SRI that will one day become a CAI but i was wonderin does the size of the pipe matter for performance??...like i have a pretty huge pipe....and it sounds quite nice..but when i look at other peoples CAI's the piple looks about an inch and a half

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
It depends on the manufacturer alot, and you do in fact get better performance from a pipe that has a 4" diameter as oppose to 3".

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
oh ok....well the more air the bettr right??..so shudnt it be the bigger thebetter??..filter and pipe?? since more volume equals more air????

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
A standard filter from AEM or K&N,just to name a few, should be fine.
even if the your pipe is a smaller than other peoples, its not that big of a difference if any at all. But this does. http://passwordjdm.com/images/Produc...c)%20Large.jpg |

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
The sight alone lets you know its special.
And Viper,its actually a PW:JDM power chamber. |
RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
actually im sayin my pipe is larger than others....and for some reason my SRI is longer than normal SRIs but shorter than a CAI....so...how does that work?.do i still get the benefits of a SRI or shud i jus call it a CAI??...or is it just a long SRI period?...note: my pipe is like 3 to 4 inches wide

RE: SRI/CAI Pipe
Is your pipe at the bottom of your bumper?
If not,you no doubt have a SRI. |
