If you are worried about dismantling, just get an SRI. You don't have to remove anything from the car besides the old air box and tube. Removing the resonator is optional if you have an SRI. My resonator is still in my car;)

We know he has a 1999. Just using my car (04) as a reference for the CAI installation.
