Throttle body cleaning

Hey so wasn't too sure where to post this but i thought the intake section would suffice. Recently just installed an AEM cold air on my 2001 honda accord f23a1 5spd mt. I like working on my car but dont have the funds to really do to much, I was curious if cleaning my throttle body would be a good idea. Would gain any lost power (due to age) back? Would i feel a difference in engine efficiency? gas mileage? Also curious as to how hard this is to due, is it expensive? Any thoughts would be welcomed, and if anyone has done this them selves I would love to know your results and tips.

Easy job and will produce an improved idle stability.

remove air intake duct, force throttle plate open w/ throttle linkage, and spray throttle body cleaner into throttle body. Use old tooth brush to help remove deposits. Clean back side of throttle plate.

Also removing the idle air control valve and cleaning inlet screen, valve movement, and inlet/outlet air passages will help.

Check DIY forum for additional guidance and maybe some pics. Youtube had numerous videos on this subject.

Sorry, no improvement in HP.

good luck
