can anyone help me find an exhaust to give me this kind of sound *the very first car scene* i love the sound of that exhuast

I think any free flow exhaust should give u very high throaty sound, the sound has alot to do with headers, cat converter, catback pipe, rear section pipe, and muffler they all combine together and make one huge throaty sound. On my 92 Ex I got my headers and cat converter and flowmaster and it sounds loud when I put metal to the pedal, but when I buy my catback pipe it will give even louder sound.

 

hes not talking about loud he is talking about good.. bmw as long as your honda is N/A it will never sound anything like a VW. its something about the firing order. no matter what exhaust you use its gonna sound like a fart. if you get a quality exhaust with a large canister and a resonator, it will sound the best that it can though. turbo hondas do have that urgent sound that you like from those vws. damn i dont care what vw it is or what exhaust they use it always sounds good.

 

i was told to check out the apexi world 2...you guys have any knowledge about these exhausts? im really concerned about the noise i absolutely HATE the fart noise...but at the same time i wanna get as much hp as i can out of the exhuast system

 

i took a look at it and i think it would sound pretty good if you got the cat back system. the canister is a good size it has a 4 inch tip, and it looks like there is a resonator in one of the pipes.

Apexi WS2 is is one of the quieter performance exhaust...it still can be heard though, and the quality is top notch.
