    Radio swap
My 2014 accord Lx radio came without a backup camera and without the g connection port
I bought a 2016 accord sport stereo which I installed in my car, but I couldn´t locate the back lt (reverse signal) input
I read somewhere that reverse signal input is a "Canbus" signal in LX/Sport models. On the other side, pin 24 is the input signal for reverse gear in head units with touch display models
I was planning to manually activate the rearview camera going into diagnosis mode (on/off button + 1 + 6 + menu button) when needed but it's a little annoying. I wired the cam to the G connection port
Could you please help me to locate the input signal when reversing in a factory-installed backup camera stereo? as it is the non-screen stereo of the accord sport 2014-2016
    I appreciate your help bro.

Hey Rich, my names Ryan. New to this forum but learned quickly that you're the guru. If you got the time, I'd love some advice.

Objective: Upgrading 2 front, 2 rear, and 2 tweeters from stock to anything better than stock. Will be happy with aftermarket HU and speakers. Not going to have the car long enough to invest in sub + amp.
Car: 2007 honda accord ex sedan, 315000 km on it
HU: Upgraded to aftermarket unit in 2015

    Question:
Front: I'm hoping to replace with speakers that fit snug in the existing stock pocket, without an adapter. I'm not sure if 5.25 or 6.5 for the front is a better choice. If I have no choice but to use an adapter, do you have dimensions/diagram for custom MDF adapter that you used?

Hope this catches you at a good time. Thanks man

My wife's car is a 2012 Honda Civic and experiences battery failures.

Question: After reading the ELD bypass information, I thought that a MCU (microcomtroller) might be a reasonable consideration. I suppose that thought came to mind since I retired from EE several years ago and now develop MCU applications for clients. Should I find the necessary Honda charging schematic information, I would even consider developing a Switched Mode Rectifier to not only control the battery float and charge voltages, but also increase the alternator's efficiency by reducing alternator reactance to also improve the alternator's power factor.
I do ask for your input to help me better understand at point I would add this MCU application in a manner not to impact the Honda's CAN OBD2 data protocol.

Your input will be greatly appreciated,
