Used VHT tailight spray. Let dry for a few days before 2 stage wet-sanding. first sand is 1000 grit to rough orange peel then 2000 grit to smooth the marks the 1000 made. Then used meguires to buff out the swirls. I should have only sprayed 3 coats of the VHT so i sanded some of the black down so the brakes come through and i dont get rear ended...lol. I am still going to lay down 2-3 coats of clear coat and wetsand again. I know these seems like a lot of steps but you MUST wetsand or your lights will look like they were done in your backyard. ALso, take the time to remove your lights for painting...you can sand on the car. Good luck and thanks for the comp...more to come!
