new berlin...i used to work at kuglitchs new berlin (bowling center on 162nd & cleveland) a while back...i think it just reopened as something else...
born and raised in milwaukee. great town...too bad I am so far from it now. |

ORIGINAL: smaglik new berlin...i used to work at kuglitchs new berlin (bowling center on 162nd & cleveland) a while back...i think it just reopened as something else... born and raised in milwaukee. great town...too bad I am so far from it now. yea it reopened as AMF, then they closed down for about 3 years. it just opened again a couple months ago as another bowling alley on one side and an ale house on the other. my friend works there now... their doin alright finally. |

AMF ran a whole bunch of bowling centers into the ground, and kugie's was one of them. They paid the owner a bit over 2 mil for the business, but the owner still leased them the land. They didnt have the capital to do the upkeep, and it went into the crapper. It was an awesome place to work when it was owned by the proprietor. I am not a big drinker, but the night it was sold, I went home and got hammered by myself. It was very very sad.
I beleive the new owners already own a couple of other centers around the state... |
