I recently bought a 93 accord lx, lotta miles, but very low price (200 bucks!)
I replaced the valve cover gasket, spark plugs, all spark plug seals, and wires.
I will be changing the filters and fluids this weekend. She still sputters, and I have to start in low gear, and it's automatic...the guy I bought it from says it needs a new chip and distibutor...which I'm confident I can get relatively cheap online...do any of you guys have any additional advice. Any other things I should consider replacing or repairing? I want this to be a fuel efficient road trip/commuter for me while I get my trooper back on the road.
Thanks in advance.

if the timing belt hasn't been done in a while I'd do that along with the water pump pretty soon... maybe run some fuel injector cleaner and/or seafoam through the motor, distributor cap/rotor and fuel filter....

Get yourself a repair manual, such as Haynes, and do all the regular maintainence and checks listed in the first section. From that point if there are still any problems we can diagnois them as such and not as simply a routine fix.
