Default First time Honda Owner

2013 Accord LX 4CYL CVT

Nice car, bad transmission-

We bought the car June 30th, test drove with salesman, noticed the car seemed bumpier than my 2004 Malibu, almost like the suspension had very tight coil springs. Don't care for the mirror either.

The car is beautiful except I don't like the Transmission. Has been at the dealer since last Wed. I don't see us keeping the car if they can't fix the judder problem and the stop and go traffic trans bumper car feeling.

Hello all. I don't think I will keep this car. I have asked Honda America to take the car back and give me my down payment back. We still are in the rental. This is unacceptable.
We will try the Camry.

Yes this is the update, BBB said Honda Dealer had until 8/8/13 to respond. I called them on the 9th, Apparently if a business is Accredited as long as this dealer has been, they have rights too.
So , I still have a transmission that is driving me insane. And I just don't know how to get results.

I guess there is no help for me, I will just take it to the dealer when the transmission finally decides to go. It is now slipping in the morning when I put it in reverse, the RPMS rev high and then it bumps into reverse. The BBB is a joke, they are paid after all by Accredited businesses such as FIRST TEAM HONDA in Chesapeake.
I should never have bought this car from them.

We went in because of the 219 a month lease, which we finally got but the first deal they gave us was 289 a month with my trade, then 249 then finally 219.

They played me from the beginning. Be cautious of this dealership.

Default Honda dealership never calls the customer

I am telling my story about my experience with FIRST TEAM HONDA in Chesapeake, VA.

Salesman brought a car for us to test drive, it ran for 20 minutes outside before we drove it. Felt okay, a little bumpy though.
We bought it. The next morning I noticed a misfire when accelerating.
Transmission problem-JUDDER, also felt like TCC came on too soon.
Dealer called me on the 3rd day to ask how I liked the car, I told them about the transmission. They said a manager would call back.
1 week went by,2 weeks, I then sent an email, 1,2,3 days- This dealer never called me, ever!!!!!!
The salesman finally called me after 3 weeks, the salesman!!!!!!!! Not a manager, the salesman, He said we lost your number.
I took the car in, left it with them for a week, they said the car is operating as another 2013 Accord so its normal. I then wanted to know what they would give me if they put me into a different car. 17000, which is 4000 less that what I paid.
I called American Honda, then the BBB.

I still have the car, American Honda doesn't want the car, BBB won't help, and I called the service manager at the dealership 2 days 08/12 08/13 and left a polite message-really I did.

Still no return call to me. I give up.
