Just purchased a new 2013 honda accord EX-L. Really like it so far.

Hope to read some good posts and contribute where i can.

Question : Do you recommend the maintenance plan they try to sell you when you purchase the car?
How about the 100k Extended Warranty?
Pros vs Cons?

I too also bought honda 98 ten months ago and is working fine congratulations to you for your purchase

are they offering the Honda backed warranty or some third party? Honda has good reason to pay claims(they want you to buy another Honda next time) third party sometimes has reasons to not pay claims but Im not telling you what to do just my experience. I just bought a 2013 Accord EXL
with remote start. I love the car. I am not sure about Honda but Toyota used to market their warranty direct to you after the sale and I always recommended that to my family and friends but I couldn't recommend the third party when the Dealer wanted us to switch(it meant more money to him).
