New to this
 

Hello, my name is Mathis, and I just joined this forum. I just recently got a new (to me) 1995 Honda Accord EX V4 auto. I am not a mechanic at all and am just at the very begining of learning how to fix cars. It seems I am only actually into 5th gen and older Accords.
I had a 96 Accord for 3 years as my first car, and it took me across the country from Virginia to Washington, and back, and from Virginia to Maine and up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire all in the same summer. Of course, it needed a new transmission afterwards. There was a giant hole in the wall of it, after driving around after getting home. That happened in fall 2016. Transmission replaced, then in June, I totalled it sadly. So I got a new one.
The new one has a few problems that are more like annoyances, and most likely (hopefully) nothing major. I will be posting about those in the correct places....
I think I am obsessed with these accords for their design and their driving comfort, and the decent fuel mileage, and the vintageness. I am also very much into the 4th and 5th gen accord wagons, and would maybe like to get one eventually down the road.
