New To Site - Problems with 2010 Accord

Good Morning - I am a new 2010 Honda Accord Owner with around 3000 miles on the car.

I purchased my Accord new from the dealer in May 2010 - drove the car for three weeks before I the first service problem. Please bear with me as I describe the problem - would like to know if anyone has had the same problem.

I started hearing a popping/knocking noise (you could feel the popping on the drivers side) around the tire area on the front drivers side. Made appoint on June 23rd, per Service Advisor bolts and suspension were torqued. Drove the car until July 8th when the noise occurred again - car was left at the dealership for three days; again Service department torqued the bolts and suspension and replaced a "boot", noise stopped for a week and then returned louder than before. Car again at the dealership on July 21st, and still and still there. Each time the car has been at the dealership a Service Tech has ridden around the building and heard the noise.

When the Service Advisor called yesterday for an update, he seemed a little stumped and stated they could not pinpoint the problem. Little concerned with this.

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be .... I am afraid that once I pick the car up again, if the noise returns, the dealer will just continue to torque bolts, etc.... Should not have to be torquing anything on a new car with 3000 miles.

Thanks for reading!

that is what I have been thinking....filed a report with the BBB and waiting to hear from an attorney friend. Have a feeling the dealership is not going to step up to the plate. It is kinda of said, I normally drive a Ford, so this is my first experience with a Honda, love the car but.....

Honda has a prob. steppin up to their mistakes...but they do make awesome cars and they last 4 ever. Thats whY I drive the older hondas...the trial and error kinks have already be worked out

Update from the dealer.... Supposedly Honda has been informed of four (4) additional vehicles with this problem and are looking into a fix (which I assume can take awhile). Per the dealer this problem is not a major problem so I should not have any problems driving, just listening to the irritating noise, so I have to deal with it until a remedy is found. Cannot believe that I have been told "I have to deal with it!"

That blows... You dish out that kind of money for a new car, then said car has problems that even the dealer cannot figure out, then they tell you that you have to deal with it!!! Thats rediculous...They would be giving me another car to drive, while they kept the junk they sold me in the first place to get it fixed...I feel for you though... Good luck, and hope they figure it out soon...

that dose really blow sorry to hear they are being that way. Im a pure a-hole if they told me that they would be literally eating my car keys and I would not leave till they fix it or make it right. Especially on a 2010 NEW car??...no way Id just walk off the lot and go home.

I hope you get everything taken care of and sorry to hear about your luck:(
