Newbie Startup from GA
Bought my first car, and ended up not going the route I thought I would. At first, I thought I was for-sure on the course for an AE92 Corolla, but, as I kept looking, they were just too hard to find for what I could afford. In the end, I stumbled upon a 1988 Accord LX (sedan) for $1,300, and it's looking pretty stellar for 24(25 from build date; model years are annoying sometimes) year old car!
All it's needed as of now have been an oil change, going to get a tune up later this week, and I REALLY need some tires. Hoping that 13" tires won't hurt my wallet too much :| Still, I had a power steering mishap RIGHT when I pulled her in today, and I've just decided to replace both of the Rack and Pinion boots for now, and get a better look at where all the power steering fluid I just bought for it poured out from. A seal set was kind of costly, but, if I need to buy it, I will! She's got a VERY strong A20A1 for her age, and getting a 1300 dollar car with only 167k on the motor hasn't been a bad deal at all. As of now, drives pretty good even without a tune up, but doesn't turn too well...yet..heh So, I guess I'm a Honda guy, now! Here's a little album, seeing as I was never privy on how to compress image files too well >.< https://i.imgur.com/fLwcYh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Cf9VKh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/sfCPqh.jpg |

if you take the address where the picture is located and put this in front of it it will make your image appear in the thread which is better than clicking on links.
