Well I have a 4 cyl and it is kind of making a loud whining noise when I turn the air conditioning on and I have post on this as well. But other then that it has ran great. Can anyone recommend a good rotor and pad for the accord? Also what about the timing chain replacement. Thanks in advance.

WELCOME to your new Home on the net.......

for the whining noise , you need to get your head under the hood and try to locate the noise..could be the a/c clutch bearing, water pump, alt , p/s pump.. You might say that some of what i mentioned have nothing to do with the a/c , but when you turn a/c on, you also put more load on the engine ..so these other parts have to work a bit harder to comply with the demands..

as far as rotors go,, you can get a set of brembo,, they are good and cheaper than Hondas,, Pads I would stay with Honda factory pads,

your car has a timing BELT not a chain and i would reccomend replacing it every 75-80k miles definatelly no later than 90k,,,,,,especially if you do mostly city driving

Input the year and model on your signature so when you have the need to ask questions we all know what car it is ..
