ow much is a theft deterrent device for honda accord
 

We just purchased a new 2012 honda accord EX. Is $1495 a fair amount for the theft deterrent device? I can't seem to find anything online that would confirm that that is a fair price.

You can have a system installed by any audio shop for around $300

$1,495 is kinda high.

Those are the kinda ways that the dealer makes money, by over charging for 'accessories'

i am sure it is a factory system Gone but that does not justify the huge mark-up.

That is excessively high for that system.. you could buy a 9mm and a box of bullets and still have money lefi over for a Pizza and a Beer.. :)
