VSA on 2009 Accord anybody new member?

Hello. After a long period faithful to ancient Subarus, on which I did my own repairs, I have finally deserted them for a new 2009 Accord. I came from England to live (thankfully) in America six years ago. I had an Accord right hand drive of course in England. Contrary to what others told me I found the Subarus fish-taily back ends on ice. Maybe my driving. I live in Allegany NY and drive to Buffalo several times a week. Any other Honda subscribers in Buffalo? Drove back last night in bad conditions the Accord had good behavior in bad conditions. Like the 'electric' power steering. Glad to be back on front wheel drive.
Has anybody actually tried out the VSA on the new Accord?
Gil

Yes actually the VSA is on (ready) but not active all the time, unless you switch it off. I tried mine on snow patch yesterday but couldn't get car to skid enough to activate it.Will try again on ice later. You can switch it off altogether but manual does not advise it! Gil

Yes, the VSA in the Honda/Acura vehicles is very nice and responsive. My moms 2004 MDX has it and I cant get it to slide in any weather whether it be snow, rain, or sleet. In fact, just the other night I we got 6 inches of snow and I was drifting it around the cul de sac with VSA off and the pedal to the floor. Turned VSA back on and did it again, pedal to the floor, and it drove in a perfect circle without sliding anywhere.
