Should I turbo my 99 accord?

I have a 1999 a cord 2.3L vtec 5 speed manual. Is it worth it to turbo the car and what could it safely run for psi?

A few comments:
  • Is it worth it? That all depends, figure the cost of the turbo application (hardware, labor, and tune) will run very nearly as much as your car is currently worth, so you have to answer that question yourself.
  • Regarding the PSI, that all depends upon the condition of your engine, the installation (intercooler, yes/no), the quality of the fuel you're willing to buy, and of course the quality of the tune.
  • Many folks, myself included, would recommend a better/faster/cheaper solution to your quest for a faster car would be to simply sell your car and buy one designed from the factory to be faster.

I have a 99 coupe, here’s my mods list it’s on 10 psi, and even seen 15psi for a few on 92 . Never had too many issues besides what comes with turbo’ing a car.
shes still solid at 200k miles and been boosted since 150kish and just got the head studs around 175k.
