still havent set up my turbo

RE: still havent set up my turbo
You say its ironcast so yeah, I would say thats normal. If you really want to keep that ugly orange off of it, clean it real good. When I say clean it reall good I mean solvents and a wire brush and then paint it. They make manifold paint that can withstad the heat of exhaust, for a while. Or just try to keep in a nice dry place

RE: still havent set up my turbo

RE: still havent set up my turbo

RE: still havent set up my turbo
try to find a downpipe on ebay then...
and try to keep that manifold dry! |
RE: still havent set up my turbo
about the only thing i can say i know is different is my manifold is specifically from the drag kit, yours is a lot like it but its made slightly different

RE: still havent set up my turbo
hmm it is dry! n i cant find a downpipe for an accord any other like cars downpipe can fit in to the accord can the prelude down pipe fit ? lol godd is orangey now haha

RE: still havent set up my turbo
the prelude may fit. I wouldn't expect a direct bolt on fit in any case since every turbo set up is different. Try to imagine how the turbo is going to sit once bolted to the manifold. That should help you decide what you will need in the way of the downpipe. If the flange locations match on the prelude one, than it might be a safe buy. I would still be ready to make minor mods to it. Do you have a friend who can weld?
