turbo f20b

question i searched the archives and i see everyone says just go with the h22 if you wanna turbo but my question is how hard would it be to turbo the f20b im getting? i understand that i need to lower the compression but other than that im lost?

RE: turbo f20b

Other than lowering the compression it's just like turbocharging any other motor. It's not hard to turbo the F20B, its hard to keep it running correctly the way it should be. Gonna be spending lots of time on the dyno.

wow completely have been misunderstanding everything that i have been reading. thought that the CD6 had the f20B but it was the CF4. im going with the CD6 H22A1 and will probably turbo that instead. thanks for the advice

The H22A's have higher compression. Usually they are better for NA cars. I would simply turbo your current motor. Youll see alot of people asking why someone turbo'd their h22a swap. Its fine and all..but its better on the f22 from what I understand
