2016 thoughts?

Just saw an ad for the 2016 Accord Sport (Sport option is now available on both the LX and EX trim) which is a 10th generation Accord. Does not appear to have any drastic body style change, with the exception of a redesigned grill & fog lamps and 19 inch wheels instead of the 18 inch which came standard on the 2015 LX Sport. Base LX has 16 inch wheels... 17's are standard on the base EX
Additionally, Honda Sensing is now a standard feature on the the EX Sport trim. Bottom line: roughly $2K more over & above the sticker for the same trim in 2015 minus Sensing Any thoughts, comments? |
Yep I See!

I would have to look at both cars side by side to see about the differances to be able to comment truthfully..I will have to stop by my local dealership to take a look at a side by side gander. :)

Here are a couple of pics though... White = 2015... Red = 2016 |
If you are going to trade it in three years, buy the 16, as it will be three years old where a '15 will be four years old. You might more than make up the difference on trade with the 16. I hope this make sense.
I like the looks of the "old" style. But I have the old style. Get a price on each, drive them both, compare features, colors, upholstery and EPA numbers. |

The most significant addition in 2016, apart from Honda Sensing, is Apple Car Play.
I LOVE Apple Car Play! |
Often there are more subtle, less visible improvements with newer models. One would need to do some deep research to know what all those changes are. Usually, the sales staff are less than knowledgeable about all the more subtle changes, so magazines such as Motor Trend can be more useful.
