Default dyno results for stock 4cyl 01 accord lx

i spent many hours online trying to see if anyone knew how much horsepower to the wheels my stock 4cyl 2001 accord lx f23a1 had. many answers said it would only loose 15% by the time it reached the wheels.
TURNS OUT THAT WAS INCORRECT, when i dyno tested my car which is supposed have 150hp according to honda website, it only had a max of 114whp on a jet dyno.
in a few weeks i will go to see how many horses extra ill get out of injen intake cai, dcsport headers and ws2 exhaust. some people said 3whp, some said 7 whp some said 20whp well see how wrong or right people are about these bolt on mods

Yes the f23a1 suppose to be 150hp @ the crank when it was brand new. For a 10 yrs old car it might not have the same amount of hp as when it was new, and automatic transmission loose more power to the wheel then a standard would, so you're loosing about 24% power to the wheel, not too bad. With the mods you mention above might not give you much more power for auto.
my estimated was 120-125 @the wheels, could loose more power for auto correct ? That number estimated was based on new or like new engine condition, so for a 10yrs old car with automatic you got 114@the wheel, so think about this, how far are we really off ?

my car only has 65k miles, and why would it be being old affect its horsepower if everything on it is well maintained?

Still has "wear and tear" on the engine and transmission no matter how well you maintained it more or less, but if it's well maintain it will last longer than the one that doesn't.

my n/a f22a dyno at 163hp with h23 intake manifold and a4 header with 200k on the clock....You have to realize your using a AUTO TB that chokes the engine back. Get a h series 5 speed TB and it will help improve your hp rating. Also what type of dyno are you using? They all spit out diff. numbers.

*edit* that was with a p28 ecu with a tune and butterfly delete

That is a very good number. 163hp at the wheel is pretty quick street car.

how the heck did you get 163 to the ground with just a intake manifold and stock header???

ported manifold a6 cam and the a4 header. I forgot to say I was using single layer head gasket. So my c/r was bumped up a weeee bit (like 9:0:1 c/r). the f22a6 is rated around 150ish so I was seeing a 13hp increase with a ported manifold and compression bump and a supper good tune. I was tuned with 93octane and the timing advanced also. You will be surprised what the f22a engines can do if you throw the right parts at them and a good tune. My cb sat on the dyno for almost 2hrs of tuning time. He squeezed every bit of power out of that engine he could. LOL no one believes me that the a4 header is the better header over DC or Megan ect. That’s why I stayed stock b/c I didn't have $800 to throw at a bisi header at the time. If I would have used a bisi header I would imagine I would have been in the or close to the 180hp range.
