Favorite Accord
Ok I make this thread to see what year accord you like and why? Also if you wish include your cons to w/e year and body style accord.
I will start.
I own a 93 cb7 I chose this as my fav. accord for mutable reasons.
1. My 1st accord
2. Lightest PGFI accord made (all cb7s)
3. Has a great platform to start with (f22a...even know ppl bypass this engine and go str8 for a H series swap)
4. Cb7 engine bay can swap just about any 2.0+ engine into besides b series tq. less @ss engine (not to dog on built b20's cus they are nasty)
5. I LOVE not like the stock paint color to my accord.
6. Has allot of room on inside compared to late model hondas
7. Has ALOT of aftermarket parts support for this engine.
Cons
1. Heavy compared to most hondas (rex/civics)
2. They ONLY run hydro clutch no cable
....that's about it for my cons. That I can think of right now.

There was a thread like this somewhere???
My favorite might be a 1995 Integra GSR 4-door (which I used to own).
Current Accord is too big. I might like the Acura TSX (Euro/JDM) Accord, but these days the big chrome jokermobile smile on the front grill is way too ugly.

When I was shopping in 2005 I had a list of criteria:
1. Under $12,000
2. No integrated factory stereo (like 2003+)
3. V6
4. Good platform for an audio system - suitable space, etc.
5. Leather with power seats
6. 4 doors (sedan)
After a few months of research and testing, I decided on the 2001 EXV6 i have now.
I chose 2001 vs 1998/1999/2000 because of the added features for 2001 (like folding side mirrors) and for general exterior cosmetics. I like the look of this gen. and like what can be done to it.
I wanted a V6 because I can afford the extra gas and I like the additional HP and Torque. I don't spend money on engine mods so I wanted something that was adequate in stock form.
I seriously considered a 1996-1997 because I liked that the center dash could be removed (A/C was up higher) for placement of an in-dash subwoofer. But the 6th gen seemed larger.
I'll be hard pressed to buy a newer Accord. My next vehicle will be a 2005-2007 Acura TL - in 3-5 years or so. I don't buy brand new cars.

my favorite is the ACCORD period, hands down the best honda built. every year everybody style. there isn't another honda that rides as good as one either. i have owned one of each and so far the 98 i currently own is top notch. 2.3 5 speed that rides out like a freaking cadillac 80 mph and over. i refuse to go the civic route. they ride like go karts. dont get me wrong i know some fast civics and some sexy ones to, just don't care for the ride quality.
