So why did you shut your lights off early in the first place? Especially if you were driving without a license?... And WHY did you decide to drive without a license?

Don't do anything that can attract any attention. Iv been driving w/o a DL for 1 1/2 years and nothing has happened. And my car is loud...you just have to learn to do everything by the book. Don't give them any reason to pull you. Lucky you only $500 ticket if I get caught driving I str8 to jail.

if you lose your DL, it's because you made a mistake that proves you shouldn't be driving.

That cop, if he pulled you over that close to your destination. did you tell him that your house was right there? IS that supposed to susperseed the law ? I mean he wouldnt be able to keep up with writing tickets if he did for every little mess up like this. I feel very sorry for you bud. For failing to operate by the laws of the land .

He broke the law simple as that. Cop doesn’t have to be a @$$ hole he was just doing his job. Don’t take it the wrong way I’m not taking the cops side what so ever...50 can suck a fat one. But when driving around with no DL you have to be 100% on top of your stuff one wrong slip up can put you in jail or give you a HUGE ticket...as his story tells.

haha, this is totally my opinion so don't take it the wrong way either, but everyone breaks the law some way or another every time they drive. i dont think cops should have the power to stop you for going two miles per hour over the limit, or something like this headlight instance. Yet cops do have the power. That doesn't mean they should, which is why i believe this guy was just looking to make trouble. I consider myself lucky for not getting into a situation with a cop yet, I speed consistently and am sure do other things wrong, but play it safe in populous areas.

lol yeah I’m with ya....but you have to look at it in a cop's point of view too...Who says as soon as he cut his lights a little kid ran out of his house after a ball or something and bam dead cus home boy cut his lights while the car was still moving. You have to look at it from diff. angles too. ANYTHING can happen.
