Default How many miles does your trusty car have on it?

Just curious about all the proud Honda owners how many miles your current or previous Honda had/has on it! If your car finally went kaput, when did it do it? My current car is an 89 Accord LXI 5 speed and it has 261,XXX on it right now and runs great! What about yours?

I've run one to 385K, several others close to 300K. All but one lost a battle with something else thanks to one of the kids (tree, deer in the road, rear ended, ect). One I sold/traded at 260K.

OMG - someone in another topic I posted (just bought a 1999 w/169+K) suggested I look at the mileage forum. Never thought I'd see a Honda with 696k..amazing!

Thank you for your service (or your kid's?) to our country. I know this is an old post but I just joined this Accord forum - previously had a 2007 Pilot, on the Piloteers forum you had posted you had an '89 Accord with a 5 speed that you still drive. Long story but now I have a truck and a '99 Accord 5 speed manual!

Someone suggested check out a high mileage forum and I found this. Good to see posts that there seems to be a good number of Hondas still out there as old as - and older than mine. I can't believe how good this 1999 feels for a 19 year old car.

My wife's 2000 Accord LX w/AT has 239K on it, still runs great.
My 99 Accord LX 5 speed has 235K on it, and runs great too. Both cars are daily drivers.
My emergency back up vehicle is a 92 Geo Prizm w/AT (Toyota Corolla clone) and 178K miles on it. Don't know how much longer I can keep it around, as rust has a foot hold in it. I picked it for 500 bucks 8.5 years ago. My wife used it 1 summer when gas was 4 bucks a gallon, and consistently got 28mpg with it. I never got more than 27. Note; this is mostly rural and city driving.

Wow, you just made me feel even better about purchasing my TL (and I wasn't sure that was possible); I've owned it since May 2017 and have put 27,000 miles on the clock so far, and the single worst tank of fuel I've had from an MPG perspective was 26. For my typical daily commute (suburban to medium size city and back) I usually log 27-28 mpg and occasionally get it as high as 30.
