Koni Group Buy... Interested ?

I have a contact that is willing to hook up Koni products at 31% off their retail value.

If we get above 5 purchasers in a single buy, I have the opportunity to offer more of a discount.

Check out Koni's Catalogue and see what the savings could be for you:
http://www.koni-na.com/cat_search_form.cfm

Example:
For my vehicle, it costs $880 retail for all four shocks.
At 31% off, I would save $272.80, for a new price of $607.20.

From Online retailers, the cheapest I can find a deal for is $616, but also has a $50 shipping bringing it to $666 (oh crap!).
Shipping will be extra, but shouldn't be near $50.

If you're interested, look up the parts and compare prices, and contact me via PM or this thread.
Be sure to include your part number to any posts or PM's if you are interested.
And as always, eBay isn't considered as a competitor to this guy, so please don't compare with that.

[EDIT]
31% if less than 5 purchasers, new price is $607.20 (Group buy not required for this deal)
35% for 5-10 purchasers, new price is $572.00
40% for 10+ purchasers, new price is $528.00
These prices do NOT include shipping!
An estimate from 78217 (San Antonio) to 10004 (New York, NY) is $32 for UPS ground (anything other shipping method skyrockets the price to $100+)

I wouldbe interested in a group buy but according to that website shows the retail on those shocks are $440 for the front and $440 for the rear. Like you said that would be $880, but Koni's online price is only $330 for the front and $330 for the rear which would be $660. Thats cheaper than what that dude quoted you. I have a '05 Coupe by the way. I would try to get that guy to go alot lower, then ill jump on and im sure alot of others will too.

Heres the link: $660 plus shipping

Tirerack's price: $616 plus shipping

magiconthetire, good find!

I didn't look too hard, but once you showed me that I contacted him again.

He was aware that Koni has a 25% off for online purchases, but mentioned something about the online orders being the lowest priority over vendors (duh, right?).

Either way, I showed him the Tirerack's price at $616 + shipping, which is a even 30% discount... He's upped his offer to reduce it down to 31% off retail value (just beating TireRack).

$607.20 + shipping (if applicable) would be the end cost.

Rest assured, these are retail boxes provided, and will contain the manufacturer's warranty per Koni: http://www.koni-na.com/warranty.cfm

I'm not gunna lie, I'm also trying to get a kickback :) but if enough people are interested, I'd be willing to give it up to help you guys out (but we're only talking 10% of -revenue-, which translates to like 35-40 bucks)

Hey Spaz ..... your friend is going to have to do better than that. For 1%, most people are going to go with the established company, not have to wait for a number of orders and will get shipment quicker. I just ran tirerack for my car and it comes to $595.98 shipped.

Falk: Actually, if you do the math it comes out to $574.08 (31% off retail of $832, not the $880 for 7th gen like we were comparing earlier).

However, I have gotten a new offer:
30% if less than 5 purchasers
35% for 5-10 purchasers
40% for 10+ purchasers

These do NOT include shipping, but a rough estimate to NY from TX is: $32

Nah there's no way he'll budge any lower than 40% off, he doesn't get it for much less than that (he'd be losing money at 50% off).

This is already way lower at 35% off than anywhere else I can find. Let's not get greedy :)

Just an update, any people that want this deal without a group buy, you are eligible for the 31% discount as a single purchaser.

if we can get 10+ people for 7th gens, 40% off is just ridiculous, ill buy em
