3/24/07 Busted the flange off the turbo manifold.

Rewelded it, braced the turbo better and ditched the exhaust. Open dp isnt too bad on the street, always coasted by cops with the 3" exhaust anyways. =)

3/30/07 Busted both axles and the clutch. It was coasting from about half track and still ran quicker than most of the cars there.

Heading to the local import day race tommorow. Hopefully there will be enough fast cars to run a heads up quick class. (not that i think my little single cam has a chance, just sounds like fun) Hopefully I can run some better times. :)

Thats really impressive. I have a lot of respect for people who build their own rides, partly because I couldnt do it myself lol. I know a little, but not enough to build something like that.

Didn't have any complete f23 engines laying around, so d16 it was. ;)

Next engine will be a k24, Got a complete engine with a stretched timing chain and bent valves sitting in the garage waiting for some attention. ;) The same basic mods I did to the D would probably put a k24 in the 700-750hp range.
