Side view mirrors
I own a 2013 Honda Accord Touring and I just noticed (after 5 years!) that the sideview mirrors have a semi-circular crevice in their attachment to the doors which would seem to indicate that they have the capability to be tucked inward. The owner's manual has nothing to say about this. A few years ago, someone bumped into my drivers mirror and it looked broken but I was able to move it back in position. Was this intended for casual tucking in when in tight spots?
Different year Accords have this or not, depending on a few things.
Some parts of the world, that's pretty normal to get into tight spaces. Sometimes it's carried into US cars just to avoid designing a different one without the ability to fold. Some cars they're motorized & fold in when you lock the car!
