Awesome bro! Nice to know there are some other rockers on the forum... Alter Bridge is the best thing to happen to rock in a while... and they play for their fans ....

The lead singerhas a helluva voice too. You don't hear many that can hit the notes he can. Did you know at the end of the movie Rock Star, he is the guy that Mark Walberg pulls out of the crowd? Or is that the guy from Shinedown? Crap, now I'm confused.... I think the bands sound very similar. It doesn't help that one of my mix cds is full of both shinedown and alterbridge songs.

You are right... he pulls myles kennedy (of Alter Bridge) out of the crowd...

Myles is a huge step up from scott stapp in my opinion... you did know that this band was formerly creed ... they just dropped the drugged up scott stapp and picked up myles

It's been a very long time since I've gotten any new CD's, but I'm going to have to check out a bunch of the stuff mentioned here .... I like good music .... any type. Has anyone else here ever slammed Vivaldi at a traffic light? You get some interesting looks.

Yeah I knew. I always thought creed sounded decent, Scott Stapp was just a total D-bag so it made them look bad.

In response to j_man here are a few more I thought of:
3 days grace
Avenge Sevenfold
Killswitch Engage
Seether
Sixx AM - sounds promising(Nikki Sixx from motley crue's newband)

There's also this new band that comes on the radio station I listen to called 5 Finger Death Punch. They sound pretty cool.

I'm not a big red hot chili peppers fan. Sorry..most of their songs annoy me and get stuck in my head.
