New to this forum Have a 94 accord question
Hey everyone. I just recently purchased a 1994 honda accord ex. Im trying to make some changes with the body to make the car appearance more presentable. Besides the dings and little dents here n there, the fronts lights Im going to replace, I noticed that the chrome piece that goes on the top of the driver door is all bent up. If I didnt know any better I would think someone was trying to break into the car that way. Now, my question toeveryone here is: what is the name of the silver or chrome piece that goes on the top of the driver door right by the window???I found a manual I downloaded off the net and it reffered to that piece as being a "side door molding". Now I have been all over online trying to find this piece so I can replace it. I have had no luck. The only thing that I find is whats called the "door molding" which is that thick black rubber strip that goes on the side of the car. Do I have the right name? If not what is it exactly called? Where can I find a replacement? Any help will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks alot!!!!

Welcome, I picked up one of those pieces for my car at a junk yard in fine condition.

i would call it the window molding. they are rather expensive, its like $65 new from the factory for one side. you also will need the clips that hold it on as its near impossible to get them off without breaking the clips
