RE: convertible...just imagine!!!
convertable = severe weight gain for a car that is already approaching 3500lbs. Not to mention body flex, wind noise, and what happens to the "rag top" as it ages....

Ahhh...why didn't Honda follow through on the concept!?

RE: convertible...just imagine!!!
Icing on the an already great car - nice thought!
Now I don't know that much about convertables but I watched a friend of mine with his Volvo. The trouble is that when he puts the top down/away (into the trunk), there is no trunk left. That would be an issue - but maybe one I would be prepared to live with for the pleasure of driving an Accord in the sun. Arni |

The front is a bit different.

RE: convertible...just imagine!!!
If Honda makes an Accord Convertible, they should have the top be a hardtop like the SLK or Pontiac or the vast majority of the bargain covertibles in Europe.

MAYBE A T-TOP

RE: convertible...just imagine!!!
I'd buy a convertible Accord coupe in a heartbeat. Never wanted a convertible living in Michigan, but now that I live in Tampa, I'd love one.
I agree that a convertible hardtop would be ideal. BMW has a new hardtop convertible indevelopment. |
RE: convertible...just imagine!!!
has anyone located a dealer that will install a convertible top on a 2007 accord.

RE: convertible...just imagine!!!
I doubt you will be able to find a dealer to undertake that kind of a project. Im betting you would have to take it to a custom shop, it would be a whole ton of work to make an Accord into a convertible, not to mention very, VERY, expensive.
