RE: Selling the "Cursed" 2007 Accord

Well, we already had a dealership quote about $1500 off msrp. We've had others tell me they're willing to deal too. Much different approach than other Hondas we've bought where salespeople start the...

RE: UPDATE

Well, we just picked up the 2007 Accord today and the transaction couldn't have gone better. Compared to the first one, where we spent almost 5 hours in the dealership, this one was just shy of 1.5...

UPDATE

Well, to give a little update...

We were being told by the dealer that the exact model we bought (and wanted in exchange) was hard to come by, so we would have to wait a month or so. Well after...

RE: FR Speaker Mounting Depth in 06 Sedan?

Well... actually, the article you referenced did the exact thing I mentioned doing. This article mentioned an optional addition of molding clay to increase the weight of the wooden trim ring. I don't...

I need help deciding on a trunk spolier... (the car is a 2007 silver EX sedan)

I can't decide between the deck lid spoiler and the rear wing spolier. I keep going back and forth. Price isn't...

RE: how will these parts sound ?

So long as the install is clean, you can't overpower speakers.... In thoery, you could put a million watts of pure clean signal through a speaker. however, the first teeniest bit of signal noise or...

RE: Considering an Accord and need some basic info

the 08 is the next slotted update for the Accord (so I hear). The 06 was a design/body style change I believe. I currently have an 06, but will be getting an 07 shortly, and hear its a virtual carry...

RE: FR Speaker Mounting Depth in 06 Sedan?

Thanks. I find the hard laminate wood really resonates well (great for SQ). It is also thick enough to get mounting clearance for those deep speaker magnets, but not too thick that it pushes the...

RE: 15" Subs????

But again... this brings us back to the topic of whetehr 15's are desireable... IMHO, No. Not unless you have an adequate array of mid-bass woofers installed as well. The people who make 15's sound...

RE: FR Speaker Mounting Depth in 06 Sedan?

Thanks... I always use spacers anyway. I have a ton of left-over scrap hard laminate wood flooring, which I find has great resonance. Plus, it's about the right thickness to make most speakers fit...

RE: 2006 to 2007 Accord - Differences?

Got a smoking deal on the car... $19,300 (with delivery) for an EX Sedan. Thats pretty good. So, I am going to have no problem paying the man his $150 dollars, since that would be reasonable. I'll...

RE: 15" Subs????

My god, ya, two 15" subs are overkill IMHO. It's more for being able to say, "ya, I got two 15's in the trunk". So, if you're really serious about it sounding good, then go with the higher quality...

RE: 2006 to 2007 Accord - Differences?

I'm not dumb.. They're making the trade because they scratched the car, prior to it's pick-up, which requires re-painting sections of it. They said they'd trade it up for the difference in MSRP. ...

RE: Sound quality of stock deck with aftermarket speakers?

Thanks Marbro,

You speak wisely. However, A factory deck and factory speakers typically don't provide good performance together.

I totally agree about wattage. I won best of show in a major...

Great deals on OEM Honda Parts.

I've ordered spoilers from them and they're a breeze to install. Even the ones with the LED lights. Just order it and have a go at...
