1989 Accord SEi (SE-i) Audio Info

Hey guys and gals,

I recently got a hold of a 1989 Accord special edition and which has the Bose audio system. 99% of the car is in original condition so the speakers are original and the amplifier is also original and has Bose on it.

The speaker's do kind of work, but I am going to replace those, but the main topic here is the amplifier itself.
The volume goes up and down randomly all on its own and it also cuts out completely it all on its own. I am fairly certain that the amplifier needs to be replaced or repaired.

I was hoping someone in here might have a replacement amplifier or repair them that could help me out.
If not, I am hoping someone might have some wiring diagrams to help me figure out negative positive for each speaker, input left and input right so on and so forth.

This is the set up where the radio is manufactured by one company, I believe Emerson perhaps. While the speakers and the amplifier were made by Bose. I am definitely going to keep the default radio cassette tape head unit for originality, but I am not against getting a standard speaker amplifier because I don't believe that would be a deal-breaker for the value of the vehicle.

Many thanks ahead of time,

- Jason

I would replace everything better sound quality since a upgrade would be better with new equipment, however do remember cheap price cheap sound, you get what you pay for.
