Hey guys, I haven't been on here in mad long because my school and and stuff. But today my mom was waiting to make a left turn onto my street and then a pickup truck demolished into the back of her car. No injuries to anyone thank god, but I loved that car and it is most likely going to be totaled. Attachment 21097Attachment 21098Attachment 21099Attachment 21100Attachment 21101

Just be glad everyone's ok... That really sucks though. Hopefully your insurance pulls through for you.

Vipers4Life 07-02-2009 04:43 PM

Yea, shouldn't be a problem since it was my mom driving and she has a clean record, and it was no way her fault.

damm that hurts to look at

cjdm98 07-04-2009 12:05 AM

Oh i see the bad side you were talking about..

daniel86 07-05-2009 07:47 AM

Sorry to hear that.

PlasticPrime 07-06-2009 01:12 AM

Wow, that looks like a terrible crash.

00AccordLX5spd 07-06-2009 11:14 AM

From the 1st pics I thought it wouldn't be a total, but seeing the bad side, I can say with near 100% certainty it is totalled.
If not your mom's fault, is the other guy's insurance taking care of it?
You said she was waiting to make a left turn so I assume she was stopped. Shouldn't be a problem saying it was the other guy's fault if that is the case.
Looks like a work truck. Does he have commercial insurance?

armyboi09 07-09-2009 09:58 AM

sorry for the lost, my sister has a car like it, altho they are super fast or anything, they are comfortible... im glad everyone was altright, and if i were ur mom i would sue that guy so bad

Vipers4Life 07-14-2009 08:27 AM

Trust me I would sue the hell outta him if it was me. It was actually his dad's brand new truck that he was driving and he is a contractor. I still have no idea what is really going on.

Frugal Rhombus 07-14-2009 12:39 PM

Sorry to hear about that man but as long as everyone's ok thats wat matters, cars can be replaced people can't. That looks pretty nasty but I would say that thing fared pretty well vs. a F350 turbo diesel, she's lucky she didn't get pancaked, that trucks got 3,000lbs on an accord easily.

Vipers4Life 07-16-2009 10:40 AM

Well I just learned that the only way the guy that caused the accident would have to pay for it is if we sue him. Because I am in NJ there is non fault insurance which means that if you or someone causes an accident your insurance doesn't pay for the other car. No Links To Selling Insurance Sites Please :)

00AccordLX5spd 07-16-2009 11:20 AM

Wow that really sucks. I'm glad I don't live in a no-fault state.
Looks like your hands are pretty much tied. You may not even be ABLE to sue the guy if you don't met certain criteria.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to sell/advertise insurance LOL. I was just showing the article about the non fault insurance. Didn't realize the ads were a problem.
