2017 Accord Touring V6 Clatter during warm idle
Hello everyone, so on my 2017 Honda Accord v6 I've been hearing a consistent clatter like noise that only occurs when the vehicle is idling warm in park or neutral. Car has 33,000 miles only and is well taken care of. I do not get any noise during a cold start, when vehicle is in drive, or while driving down the road. Even revving up the engine at a warm idle does not cause the clattering to get any louder.
I have heard this noise on some 9th gen accord v6 and some not. Dealer does not think anything is wrong.
As far as I can tell its probably been there since ownership but I've really started to pay attention to it during the last year or two. No roughness in idle, smooth as silk. Additionally, there are no engine codes. I change my oil and filter every time the light comes on, changed the engine air filter, cabin filter, transmission fluid change, brake fluid, and whatever else that needed to be done. Just really trying to find out what this noise is and if it truly is normal. Why does it disappear once in gear?
Here is a link to the video:
Thanks
