Air Ride Question
 

Anyone have experience with bagged cars? if so do they have problems in the winter? is it a good idea to buy a good quality air suspension system or are they mostly the same with just dif brands making it cost different

also is it easy to bury the tank in the trunk in the bottom of it or one of the side? cause i want to put subs in the back of the trunk. and do i need easy access to the tank because i got no idea what it does :\

I will do proper research before i actually install an air ride into the car but im just getting some base on if i should even have a air ride or just lower it on some springs. I plan on doing alot of body work to the car and i dont want it scrapping the bumpers or anything which is why im thinking of a Air Ride for it so i can higher it while i drive without worrying. Plus my driveway has a huge bump like elivation to get up on it so if its lowered, theres no way i can get it in my driveway without breaking my bumper

Ive had air ride on my Lincoln since 1995 and never had a problem with it untill this spring..getting it taken off and going to Suncore spring system..

did u also need a camber kit and how is the ride quality when its slammed?

Ang in a "slammed" car....:) I got to see that one.

If memory serves me the lincoln can OE with air ride.

Back to your question, camber in a "slammed" car is a bit of a debate and depends on how far you are going.

Cold and air bags.....are we talking -50? Yes they are made of rubber but at the same time they have been around for a long time.

well the camber part i wouldnt drive it slammed most of the time but knowing myself i probably will. slammed as in like less than a inch off the ground. If i dont drive it slammed but when its parked keep it slammed would that have negative effects on my car like ball joints or anything to do with the suspension.

and weather i live in toronto ontario canada we get to like -30 celcuis on average in the coldest winter times.

i was wondering cause in cold the air condenses correct? so would that make my car look slanted or anything bad happen to it.

EDIT: this is a everyday car so it will be driven alot throughout the year including winter.
