Which is the better coilover???
Hello HAF. I am planning on replacing my struts a few months from now, the struts i currently have are awfully soft. It bounces and corners really bad, tooooo sof but its not leaking tho.
Anyway, i read mixed reviews about these coilovers so im asking here maybe someone had a first hand experience on the following coilovers, any input, suggestions, comment will be appreciated. Contemplating on these coilovers: - Tein basis coilovers - function n form f2 type1 - Megan racing ez They are almost in the same price bracket. My goal is to stiffen the ride a little bit and ofcourse to lower the ride height to have confidence while cornering, my car will never see a track it is an a/t (lol). Ill be using it mostly for commute and long trips. (750 mile trips) So which is the best bang for the buck? Where can i get them for a cheaper price? Lol Thanks in advance :) |

I don't just want the springs, I'm more into true coilovers. I haven't replaced any of my shocks since I've had this car and I know that replacing the springs only would significantly put some stress on the old shocks. That's part of the reason I want the whole kit as opposed to just the coilover sleeves. Thanks though. I might as well go for the BWR SS and check them out. Stay posted for my own personal review of these.

I know this is old but I had FnF Type 1's on my CRX and they were pretty stiff. Not something I like to dd and thats what the CRX was for. I've read that people like them on the accords. Different strokes for different folks. Try to find out the spring ratings on the FnF and go from there.
