Can tie rod affect camber?
 

This is on a 1994 accord. So I recently decided to take on the task of changing my front rotors. As if it wasnt enough of a job i found out that on the passenger side my upper ball joint, lower ball joint, and tie rod were all shredded and needed to be replaced. So i replaced the control arm with a new upper ball joint. The lower and the tie rod. After getting everything put back together i have noticed the car is pulling to the right. And as I take it for a short 3 minute drive i notice the the tire is at a negative camber. I took the tire off and checked everything...its all tight and I cant figure it out. The only thing i can come up with is the tie rod is not adjusted properly and causing the negative camber and pulling to the right? I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this? I was under the impression that the control arm would be the only cause for a negative camber but...its brand new via autozone.

What about the bolted position of the inboard pivots for the upper control arm? Much room for movement if you loosen those bolts & re-tighten after moving them?

What about something similar for the inboard pivot bushings for the lower control arm? Did you replace the lower arm and/or loosen it's bushings?

You can buy adjusting bolts for camber adjustment. See following video.

I havent tried loosening and retightening. I also did not touch the lower control arm. There was no need to. Should i?

Also i shouldnt have to buy a camber kit....the parts are brand new. From what i can tell a camber kit for a accord this year would be a new special upper ball joint. I just replaced the ball joint. The only reason i replaced the control arm as well was because I saw it was 10 dollars more to buy the control arm& ball joint assembly than it was to just buy the ball joint.

Since you have upper control arms (not McPherson struts) you don't have that type of camber adjustment in the video.

No need to do the inboard pivots of the lower arms. Just saying IF you HAD done anything, that's another opportunity to move something that affects the camber.

And I agree, with new parts, you shouldn't need a camber kit. Maybe something you didn't replace is bent?
