RE: is this car too low to make turns?
Doesnt look like it, unless the tire hit a hard bump in the road while turning. Then it may get shoved up to the fender

but the tire is still already inside the thing, so now it wont be able to turn out, right?

It looks close but I think that car can still turn. Hard turns might produce a little rubbing though. It is just kind of hard to tell when all we have to go on is 1 pic. It does look really nice though. I was gearing up for some suspension but then some a$$ hole stole my wife's debit card and burned through $1300 in a matter of a couple of hours.
Anyway, where/who is that pic from? Ask that guy? I would like to know if that is a kit or just springs or what. Let us know if you find out anything. |
RE: is this car too low to make turns?
one other option if you just want to lower the car that one of our subscribers (whynotfab) has done is air suspension, however, I'd agree that based on that picture it looks like you'd be able to turn just fine

but air suspension wont offer really good handling like getting good lowering springs, right?

RE: is this car too low to make turns?
Typically, No. I guess it depends on the kit. Generally speaking a regular spring/strut set up will be better for handling. From what you have said that you like I would suggest looking into a coilover set up, you can go low or high and handling should be good.
