Daily Driven 99 Best lowing setup?

I'm building a 99 2drfor my girlfriend and she wants the works. I'd like to lower it about 2", but I don't want to sacrifice much ride quality (firm is good, I just don't want to be bouncing around) What is the best route to go? Coilovers, springs? Brands? I'm going to be upgrading to 18" wheels soon as well, and I don't want to be tearing up the fenders by rubbing.

For the best ride quality, go with coilovers. Besides, they're usually adjustable from 0-4 inches, so you can switch it up from time to time if you want. I dont know too much about what brands are good, although I have heard good things about Dropzone (WheelBrokerAng has a set for sale in the classified section that you might want to take a look at) and Skunk2, and you probably cant go wrong with Tein. I would just stay away from the no name eBay brands...

H&R cup kits are nice for that small drop but it's going to massage your kidneys pretty good, Kyb struts/shocks with some neuspeed coilovers is a nice fairly inexpensive setup, be sure to get aftermarket shocks/struts, don't use the stock ones or you'll regret it before to long (they'll blow out), also keep in mind that you may need a camber adjustment kit to stand the tires up straight
