Help!

I'm new to the accord world. I have a 99 accord LX 4 cyl. and it will soon be lowered. But idk how much i should lower it? I was thinking either 1.5 front and back but idk. Others who had lowered an accord to the similar model please help...

are you going for just the look or for the performance??
FYI it will cost you $600+ t drop your car the RIGHT wan without breaking things...if you don't want to spend that much stay stock.

yeah i know its gonna be costly... im jus going for looks and i wanna drop it right too camber kit and everything else. How low do u think i should drop?

0 to 4.0" drop kit like Coil-over kit...adjust it to where you like it.

Oh I actually really like that thanx guys for the input. I was thinking about going Eibach for my accord. Thanx.

depends on how your roads are in your area n how low you can drop it. I'm personally sittin really low I have LES than a finger gap between my tire and fender.
Also look into rolling the rear fenders so you won’t rub after lowering.

I want to get adjustables i really like the idea but because i live in the boonies and im jus a daily driver to school i'll probably wont lower it too low, probably not as low as to a finger gap lol. But thanks.

if you want adjustable you will need coilovers. But remember every time you adjust them you will need to get a alignment done.

JDM@ccord99 01-17-2011 10:06 PM

yeah i know that. But i know coilovers and struts together are gonna be expensive as ever but my accord is gonna be my first project. I wanna make it look beast. Later, i'm thinkin bout swapping an h22a in it and maybe later boost it. lol thanks though and like i said im new to the accord world thanks for the help.

boosting a h22 is be costly just to let you know. Your better off boosting your stock engine. You can pull 300hp out of it easy stock. a h22 you have to re-sleeve the block or buy 500 pistons. Your looking at having to modify the h22 be4 you can turbo it. Just something to think about.
