high speed vibration ?

I've got an '03 Accord with Brigestone Potenza tires, 75,000 miles. After many re-balances and an alignment check, I still have a small vibration at 80 mph. Could this be a wheel bearing going or someother mystery issue like a sway bar link bushing going bad.

Describe a "small" vibration.

go and get your wheels balanced again they didn't balance them correctly they most likely used the wrong weights and or possibly a loose wheel. Have them show you the alignment also i would just take it back there and have them show you each wheel weighs out to 0 after balance

I've had this happen for two different reasons on two different cars. One car they used rather large wheel weight which made them balance out but it needed to be distributed differently to prevent the vibration. so instead of one 5kg weight you use 5 1kg weights next to each other.

second reason: I had a tire that got a bunch of mud and crap in it somehow, didn't vibrate until 75. The shop took the tire off cleaned it out and everything was fine

x2 ..... my brother's CL has this problem .... alignment and balance are as good as possible, but around 70 his steering wheel shakes a bit and braking feels similar to a warped rotor, but the rotors are fine.

Perhaps a worn tie rod end or ball joint? Internal tyre damage? Have you balanced front AND rear wheels?

That's one hell of a tyre imbalance! Just in case you don't know, 1kg = 2.2lbs.

I was just throwing a unit of measure out there for example reasons, I couldn't remember what unit of measure they used for wheel weights so I just made something up! *L* If I had been paying more attention I would have realized that....ah the joy's of a few pots of coffee....
