Honda Accord 2002 EX v6

I have a top of the line 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 for about 3 years and it kind of always had too much body lean in my opinion with stock equipment.

Can anyone explain to me if there any way to improve body lean situation I have?

I don't want to lower my car, I live in NYC and with all these maniacs driving around in these huge SUVs, and bad NYC roads, feel that the car is as low as it need to be.

The car is great, if it wasn't for the body lean, it would be perfect.

Thanks

To correct the situation, the most effective way is to lower the car. The next is anti-sway bars. They may not be as effective as lowering, but a thicker anti-sway bar will provide the resistance your looking for. How much, depends on how thick the bar is. You have quite a few options for those who don't know the 02-03 TL's have a 20mm say bar that's interchangeable with 6th Gen Accords as well as the 04+ TL's which have a 22mm sway bar. ;) but for the 04+ you'll have to get separate bushings to hold the wider bar. Another additon is a strut bar. Some say you can't tell the diffence after the install, some say you can. They are good options out there that are stronger than the the cheap ones. APR Performance, Comptech, and Neuspeed are all good.

Can you tell me how comparable will be to the stock sway bars will be Front 7/8' and Rear 3/4' bar diameter? Do you have any idea what's the stock part diameter dimensions are?

thanks

17mm is the stock rear anti-sway... 3/4" = 18.7mm The strength characterstics are definitely different. The aftermarket sways tend to be stronger and lighter because they are bigger and hollow. A mm or two can be felt. The front is 27.2mm. The thicker front causes understeer in our car that's why some people only change the back. Mine is smaller, but I'd save dough and not change the front only to help the understeer.

Hi...
If I might suggest for you on buying an Upper and Lower Strut Tower Brace and also a Front and Rear anti sway bar kit which will reduce your body roll and and understeering handling...
