I need advice on coilovers

I have been wanting to get coilovers for some time now. I have researched and understand the coil overs are in my best interest to lower my car.

I have a 2006 Honda Accord v6 sedan.
I also understand I will need a camber kit so what kind of camber kit do you guys recommend.

I have been looking into black smoke racing coilovers anyone have luck eith these?

Any help, advice,or anything would be appriciated

BWR is meh. They have mixed reviews. You're better off getting Function&Form, KSport, or D2. They are good "entry level" coilovers.

If you want something with better quality though, get Koni Yellow shocks, and Ground Control coilover sleeves. Both products come with a lifetime warranty, which is something you rarely see on aftermarket parts. Also, with Ground Control, you can choose spring your own spring rates, since the standard ones are generally a little soft. ANd the Koni Yellows are damping adjustable, so you can set the stiffness as you need it.

This is the setup I am currently running on my 5th Gen, and for the money, it can't be beat. I have 10k front and 8k rear custom springs. Its definitely stiffer than the standard springs, but still very comfortable. On the freeway with the shock on soft, the car rides pretty much like stock. But I can easily stiffen them up, and take the car through canyons with almost no body roll.

Here are the best places to get the setup:

Koni's : Tunersports. Use coupon code "SpringSavings". about $520 with free shipping.

Koni Sport Series Yellow Shocks SALE (8041-1322LSport & 8041-1322RSport & 8041-1329Sport) - 03-07 Accord (2 Dr and 4Dr; All Mdls), 04-08 TSX and 04-08 TL « Free Shipping

GCs: eBay. This is the GC kit specifically designed for use with Koni's. $400 with free shipping. The seller can get you custom spring rates for no extra charge, you just have to message them before you order.

Koni Sport Series Yellow Shocks SALE (8041-1322LSport & 8041-1322RSport & 8041-1329Sport) - 03-07 Accord (2 Dr and 4Dr; All Mdls), 04-08 TSX and 04-08 TL « Free Shipping

Like I said before, this setup is hands down the best for the money. You'll end up spending $1500+ for a comparable setup. And the lifetime warranty can't be beat.

So the koni yellow is just the shock wich is 500 and the gc are the sleeves for 400?

What does it mean when you say 10k and 8k?

Im thinking i might just go with funtion and form as i am new and more simple atm is better lol.

Do you recommend i try to install coilovers myself? I havent done a lot with cars but a very interested. Also i am scared to mess something up. The front seems doable but the back seems scary lol

Any tips there?
