Slop-Play in Steering Wheel & Tie Rods when Steering Wheel Locked
 

Ive searched everywhere and keep getting responses for "locked steering wheel" not my issue I have alot of slop in the steering wheel and both tires move at same time.
My other cars have near zero movement in tires and steering wheel when keys is out and its locked. My daughters 2001 Accord started getting a hum, I traced it to the fron passenger bearing, no doubt, easy to tell wit stethoscope on knuckle by bearing and rotating hub after removing brake pads & caliber.

So I decided to inspect suspension, did a visual and wiggle everything to check for bushing or ball joint issues. So grabbing the hub at 12 & 6 no movement but 9& 3 I can get5-10 degrees of turn in & out and see the steering wheel turn at same time, of course the tie rods are moving with it. Theres no jerk on outer or inner tie rod ball joint, it just like alot of play in the rack & pinion linkage for some unknown reason, it seems excessive to me, I did notexpect 100% stiffness.

Si is that normal to have good amount, 5-10 degree movement in the steering wheel/linkage/suspension for 2001 accord or is something else at play (pun intended. !?

Cars I've owned have always had some movement like that. If you want to check actual looseness or play in the steering or suspension or bearings, you need a helper to reach in through the window and hold the steering wheel firmly one way or the other against the lock.
