RE: Strut tower bar or Rear Sway Bar?
Go with the sways first, because those will definitely give you more handling than struts. As far as brands go, Greddy, neuspeed, and tanube and pretty big. Though neuspeed and greddyare definitely more on the pricier side of things. I've never heard of Progress. I say either Greddy or Neuspeed, but if you're short on cash, I guess you can choose the other brands. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for, so it might be better to save up a bit and get the better ones.

sway then strut
:D |
RE: Strut tower bar or Rear Sway Bar?
reason being sway corrects your horrendous FWD understeer...bigger the better. 22 is common, 24 is considered monster.

Neuspeed has 27mm's out for my 2000!

27 is SUPER MONSTER. thats a bit excessive...but I mean we drive FWD Accords...so I guess it's not excessive at all after all. :P

RE: Strut tower bar or Rear Sway Bar?
I've heard the 27mm Progress bar is a great bar. I had Comptechs and they were pretty sweet. I still haven't seen anyone else make a 6th gen V6 sedan hold 0.9g's on a turn.

RE: Strut tower bar or Rear Sway Bar?
I could believe that. Even the 27mm wasn't enough to hold it down to 0.9gs eh?

RE: Strut tower bar or Rear Sway Bar?
how big should i go for a daily commuter car? maybe 22mm ? 24mm ?
and should i think about replacing any of the hardware connecting the rear sways? the links look WEAK.... literally the thickness of a pencil what should i make sure the new rear sways come with ? (bolts, bushings, etc..) any tips on the install? looks simple.... also any links or websites would be helpful... whats your thoughts on H&R components? |
