Which suspension for my 96 EX Coupe
Hi all, I am heading up to Denver on tomorrow to pick up my "new" Accord, and am already thinking about the mods I want to do.
It's already got clear corners, bumpers, and upper tails, as well as some kind of aftermarket air filter... cold air maybe. Anyway, it's obvious that it is going to need some lowering but I don't know how much I want to do. It will be a daily driver here in the front range, which means occasional snow packed roads, negotiating speed bumps, and driveways. I don't want to sacrifice a great deal of the ride qaulity and I was thinking Eibach Sportline springs (1.8"FR - 1.7"RR) with 16" wheels would be a good combo. But since I am such a total noob to modding an import car I don't know what other parts I'll really need or if this is a good setup at all. Shocks? Camber kit? Any advice would be much appreciated! |
RE: Which suspension for my 96 EX Coupe
yea eibach is a great company. you will want to also get a camber kit if you want your tires to wear nice and evenly, but if you dont care about replacing tires all the time you can just leave the car with some negative camber. it will actually help you corner a little better

Thanks. I have been told by others also that I should get a camber kit. Is that something that is hard to install?

no its really easy..if you are able to change out the struts/springs you wont have any trouble with a camber kit
