Default why does my car bounce to the side when i drive over bumps?

like when im going 20-40 mph and there's this bump thing in the road, and i drive over it and i can feel the rear of the car bounce sideways, instead of a normal straight on bounce.

When was the last time you had an alignment?

it could be struts if one is worn more than the other, but most likely that you are out of alignment.
