Broken wheel stud
 

I was recently putting my tire back on my 03 Honda Accord LX and broke the wheel stud... It was one of those oh crap moments. So I was wondering how big of a deal it is to replace one. Can you buy just one stud and replace it or do you have to buy a whole new rotor assembly? If it helps the stud DID NOT break off flush with the rotor. There is maybe and 8th to a 1/4 in still exposed.

Yes you can buy one stud. Front or rear?
The difficulty is whether there's room to drive the broken stud out of the hub.

Wait... LX & you say "rotor" so it must be the front?
Take off the brake caliper & hang it so it doesn't hang on it's hose. Remove the caliper bracket & the rotor.

Rotate the hub around & see whether there's any recess where you can remove the stud. I don't remember, but I kinda think there is NOT enough room anywhere.

If that's the case, you have to remove the hub from the steering knuckle. That usually destroys the wheel bearing, so with that expense you may as well replace all 5 studs.
