I have an old 1993 Honda Accord DX and dont know much about wheels.
My question is can I put on larger tires and rims to make it look better?

How do you go about doing this?
What do I need to know about my car to get new rims and tires.

What I want to go for is a new look similar to this. I am going to look for the body kit pieces but first the wheels are significantly different.

And to answer your actual question...
You can go to tirerack dot com & put in your car's information. Then click wheels & see what they allow in terms of larger wheels & low-profile tires. If you go any bigger than that, you run some amount of risk that they'll rub against something like shocks or fenders.
